84% Increase In Asian Bookings Predicted For 2023

Trip101, a company that provides travel recommendations, reported a significant increase in the popularity of vacation rentals among travelers visiting Asian countries. In 2023, there’s an anticipated 84% jump in bookings compared to 2022.

Additionally, Asia, like the United States, is witnessing an increase in the average number of nights booked in vacation rentals, rising by 20% from about 2.5 nights to 3. The average booking value in Asia has also increased by 20%, suggesting that people are willing to spend more on longer stays and enhanced experiences. This shift is attributed to the pandemic, which has enabled remote work and given rise to new travel trends like workstations, leisure travel, and digital nomads.

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, renowned for its luxury hospitality, has revealed an exciting new international marketing campaign, “Leave Better.” The campaign, created in partnership with Team One, sets out to redefine travel experiences by emphasizing self-discovery, genuine comfort, and care.

The campaign’s question “How will a stay leave you?” invites guests to think about the memories they’ll make, the relationships they’ll form, and the inspiration they’ll find — through educational workshops, cultural events, practical culinary experiences, and more.

As part of this multi-million dollar campaign, The Ritz-Carlton aims to convey that travel not only creates lasting memories but also has the power to transform one’s sense of self. The campaign will be launched in several languages across international markets, including the United States, Japan, China, Germany, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia, reaching a global audience.

The Ritz-Carlton has long been synonymous with luxury hospitality, and with “Leave Better,” they are reinforcing their commitment to innovation and thoughtful evolution, ensuring they remain a leader in the luxury travel industry. This represents a bold step towards redefining travel and self-discovery in the world of hospitality.
